You can listen to them both - so you'll be the best judge of that I would have thought? Otherwise, you're comparising specifications - which mean a lot to some and little to others.

How important is the XLR connection? D7 seems a nice piece of kit, but wondering whether a streamer / pre-amp from WiiM / Eversolo / etc might be worth consideration?

I think I'm also a believer that the streaming transport (i.e. digital out) makes no difference so I'm after good software for ease of use ... which makes the WiiM mini quite possibly the most ridiculous value proposition out there.

What don't you like about the WiiM Amp Pro?

Go the Wiim Pro Plus ... I don't think you can go wrong at that price point given the colour provided above as to use.

I've reinvigorated my Naim Uniti Lite for office use and would categorically state that, in my experience, Naim products have to be used with a wired LAN connection. Otherise, I experience constant drop outs. Naim recently updated firmware, but I though it was due to a change in internet radio...

FWIW I have "intermingling" of power, interconnect and speaker cables ... and there are no issues.

Naim + Neat ... I've heard of that combo before and would concur. I had a Naim Uniti Lite and a Naim Nait 5 pushing Iotas, and it sounded great.

Love the "drabness" of those amplifiers - so booring, yet so attractive. Secondly, how good of AEJ to provide such insight into the processes and thoughts - makes for interesting reading.

Kupids look to be priced at same levels as Oberon 1s ... so that could be an interesting match up.
