I find that anything really familiar works for me when I'm writing. If I try to listen to something new, my brain tunes in and I can't concentrate on my work. Unless it's classical – pretty much anything orchestral works for me. Hard bop, on the other hand, does not. :O

Apologies for that - the Buyer's Guide redesign has thrown up a couple of gremlins. This should've been the B&W MT-50, not the -60. The page in question has been disciplined and has promised to get it right this month.
