I have just set up my surround sound, i have a yamaha RX-A820 and mordaunt short speakers. The problem is that when I plug the sub cable into my mezzo 9 sub there is a loud humm coming from it. When I unscrew my sat cable from the wall the hum stops. Is there an easy solution for this, any help...

Just bought a set of ms Avaino 8 speakers and Yamaha RX-A820 amp. Just have to buy the centre and rears now, but the system will not be up and running until the new year so picking things up as I go along. Looking forward to getting it set-up.

Depending on your budget you could try the 55vt50 if you are looking a larger screen with built-in freesat. I have no banding issues with mine and there is a lot of football and golf watched on the set.

Thought he was also looking opinion on the vt50, think he should check other retailers as the 50vt50 is currently available with Panasonic.

We have a 55vt50 and 42gt50 at home, the gt is very good but the vt50 is just that bit better plus the design is much nicer too. Saw the 55st50 and the motion was not very smooth a bit too much judder from what I saw.

The hx953 is not coming to the UK, 853 is a great tv, nice design too.

If you like F1 go for the Sony KDL-32HX753, it will have better motion than all the above. Plus gets a 5 star review.
