Agreed, give the Dalis some time to loosen up. I felt they got better after a couple of weeks. Make sure you fire them straight out, I think having them toed in impacts the sound negatively. Just my opinion.

Depends on what your connectivity requirements are really. I have the 6005 and I think it is great value for money and sounds fabulous. I was put off the CA amps by reviews that suggested there were chanel output imbalances at low volume levels. I knew that I would always be listening for that...

I am using Atacama SE24s. I have had them for a number of years but I think they look great and the sound is fantastic to my ears. I think you can pick them up for relatively small money these days.

Have a listen to the Marantz PM6005. It is a great amp.

Billy McKenzie's voice is simply wonderful. Party Fears Two sounds even better every time I listen to it (and that is a lot over the years). The more obscure album tracks really show us what he could do though.
