The new Reference is supposed to be selling quite well but I sure don't see much traffic on any of the forums. Nothing like the new 800 series is causing.

When I bought my 205/2s I did home auditions of the Revel Ultima Studio2s and the 205/2s. The Studio2s had the better tweeter (more air) but the 205/2s had better bass response in my smaller room (13'w x 16'd x 9'h) plus the 202/2c fit better than the Voice2 could have. Both are amazing...

Well the U.S. has finally been delivering the new Reference to customers but center channels are still back ordered but will start appearing soon. What is the supply side like on the other side of the pond. Hoping to see more customer feedback on the new line.

Still not much going on here. What little I have heard has been good but I am wondering if Kef is still trying to stock dealers as have seen no posts anywhere of new Reference owners that I am aware. I know of a future Ref 1 owner but he still has not received them yet.

So DavidF, how do the new Reference stack up to their PMC counterparts? There does not seem like a lot of feedback yet from customers, I wonder if Kef is trying to stock dealers still.

I got feedback (biased but I trust it) that the Ones are pretty amazing, perhaps more of a statement than the 201/2s were. Any feedback on the Ones or any of the new line?

Well the first set of 5s have made it to Kef US. They are destined to go to San Francisco for Audio Vision SF's grand opening. Hopefully some feedback will start coming in soon.

David, Thanks! Looking forward to your impressions. I know of one Blade owner used the R600c as his center. Hopefully the new Reference Centre will better match sonically the Blade or Blade2 if they need a center speaker

David, what are the ETAs for the Reference 5 and Blade2s? Very interested in your impressions including upstream electronics and source material. The Magico S3s have me extremely interested but realize they are very dependent on the associated electronics and would love to know if those new...

what did you end up doing?

i would have a difficult time using them in my room. I tried rear ported and bottom ported and neither worked very well in my situation. The 205/2s work very well for me with the front ports.
