    Pmc 20.21 vs 25.21

Hi savage, I found that the 20.21s had a better midrange than the 25.21s, whether its due to it being tilted up on the 20.21s or another reason etc, I just prefer the sound of the 20.21s for me. As an aside, I was also suprised how different the 25.21 and 20.21 sounded too.

Can anyone recommend a good, strong pair of speaker stands?

Ah sorry. To be honest I've never seen a partington website actually. This is a good link though https://www.audioaffair.co.uk/partington_speaker_stands?gclid=CjwKCAiA_eb-BRB2EiwAGBnXXjyaI9gOT7Gd-hwozjTad1O-c3acWXq_PySzXP-Tk86BhO-fuuhKrhoCU2QQAvD_BwE Regarding the atacama stands, they do look...

Can anyone recommend a good, strong pair of speaker stands?

Hi if 100 is a bit too much I'd suggest atacama then.. something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133604613899 Re your point on links to partington, id suggest a Google search for some reviews. They are the real deal but aren't cheap as you've stated above!

Can anyone recommend a good, strong pair of speaker stands?

Look for some partington stands on ebay second hand I've had 3 sets of them, the dreadnoughts, ultimas and now the heavies. The dreadnoughts are lowest in the range and I've seen them on ebay for around 100 quid, they can be mass loaded too, i reckon they'll weigh about 15 to 20kg once mass...

Your thoughs and suggestions about my current system (Monitor Audio Gold 100 4G & Denon X4500H)

Hi Chris. Lovely looking room I've taken a quick look at the pic and my first thought was that the speakers look very close to the wall. As stated above could be worth playing about with position. There are a lot of hard surfaces their too, that maybe impacting things too. Since my time in...

    Pmc 20.21 vs 25.21

Hi to be fair I think the 25 21s have been run in for a while. I bought them " blind "second hand. When I first plugged them in I was blown away by the improvements to the bass. It was only after listening to them over time (over 3 months) I realised I preferred the 20.21s. Cheers

    Pmc 20.21 vs 25.21

I done a back to back comparison of these two speakers in my room on my own system. I've had the 20.21 at home for a few years but decided to test the 25.21 to see how good they are. I honestly thought I'd love the 25.21 but I actually prefer the 20.21. To.me the midrange is quite a bit better...

    Securing speakers to stands

Nice one. The broadsides are good stands. I've had the range (dreadnoughts, ultima and heavy). The only ones I didn't try are the broadsides.

    Securing speakers to stands

To be fair I've changed the stands now anyway. They are even heavier now, I have the partington heavys, abouts 35kg each! They arent going anywhere! One of the reasons I changed them was because we have a baby now!
