If you're going wired, a usb dac-amp will improve the Sound quality. Even the apple dongle or Hidizs sonata HD pro will be better than phone output.

If you want something in the dongle form factor, Shanling UA2 and Hidizs S9 Pro has both single ended and balanced output. Though I don't think you'd be able to use the wh1000xm3 in balanced.

Topping A30 Pro. It's transparent, just as an amp should be. Aaand it has a lot of power.

If you want something that's transparent to a fault, and has lots of power get the Topping A30 Pro. Fyi, the balanced output isn't truly balanced on this one.

Between the PEE51 and the THX Onyx, which one do you think is better for iems? FYI, FiiO used the same dac-amp module (THX AAA-78) on their Flagship daps.

HiFiman Sundara, without hesitation. They're like the planar benchmark under $500. They respond to eq pretty well. If you're feeling adventurous, try the HarmonicDyne Zeus. It has remarkable transient response.

I've added a Firestick to my non-smart tv. I already have Hiby R2 which has two way bluetooth. Now I can use any iem with a 3.5mm jack. It's so convenient and seamless.

Topping L30 can drive the Arya without any audible distortion.
