blue tac..... use it for everything hifi...... under speakers use 10/12 very small blobs, much better than four big blobs. also found sainsburys granite work top saver with multiple small blobs works a treat under electronics. wonder stuff for hifi.!

Hi Can anyone give me some advice on damping my large IPL s4 ribbon transmission line speakers ? they sound fantastic 16 inch from the back wall 5 foot from side walls, speakers 9 foot apart.... my problem is that both speakers have to go back up to the rear wall to stop me from constantly...

Most so called Audiophiles that I have come across seem to spend massive sums of cash chasing better sound, GET YOUR ROOM ACCOUSTICS RIGHT FIRST !!! Get this right and you will get great sound from a modest set up , get this wrong and you will total pants sound. Dont waste any more money on hifi...
