I am looking for a 55-60" screen, but as I do not have an aerial or satellite dish I do not need freeview, I also do not need internet usage or fancy features, basically I am looking for an HD monitor. All my input comes from a VM Tivo box, Bluray DVD and media player all linked to my network...

I have bought a new 1.3 HDMI cable and the system is either not transmitting or the Onkyo is not receiving, I can use the Optical and get DTS but not HD, am I doing something wrong or have I got a problem?

That's what I am afraid of, I have bought leads recently, but may have to look to confirm if they are 1.3. Cheers

Help I have set my Panasonic BD50 up to output sound to my Onkyo TX-SA605 via HDMI lead. Everything is fine with sound output as Dolby Digital, until the film starts, at the point the sound track switches to Dolby True HD (National Treasure 2) the sound disapears. I can listen via coax as dolby...

I have no problems with my Onkyo 605 it displays Dolby Digital with BBC HD. I have set the audio up via opital, because when I listen to radio channels via Virgin + the sound keeps dropping over the HDMI. I get a nice sound this way no problems and the Onkyo reacts straight away.
