dark / warm / thunder and lightning - kef r series are very good speakers.

I don't get all this talk about the kef r500 beind dark, they sparkle with life and enegy. they are very musical and hugely pleaseing to own.

If you have'nt heard or do'nt own a pair of kef r500 speakers, go and have a listen, there amazing and worth every penny. I've started buying new cd's again and enjoying every glorious musical moment

I have the kef r500, i have'nt tryed the amp in question to power them though, i use a denon av amp and the denon 2012ud as a cd player. I used to have the b&w cm5 speakers before i bought the kef r500 a month ago. The b&W's are no where near as good as the r500. The r500 have to be listened to...

I see in your settings, you have a 'colour space' option and you have selected 'auto' .Have you the option to set it to 'custom' like i suggested instead of 'auto'. if so follow the imformation i gave you regarding setting the colours, its the best way to really get your tv looking as good as...

In the colour space menu select 'custom'. Turn all of the colours that have numbers such as 50 etc already set, up to about 75, not any others that are set at 0. Then go back to the main menu colour and reduce the colours gradually, that way getting an even balance without washing the picture...
