Thanks all for the replies, it sounds like I should ditch the floorstanders for standmounts. Would I need seperate SubWoofers if I went for standmounts ? Thanks.

Hi, i am planning on stereo system for a 3 x 4.2 meter room, the distance from the speakers would probably be 2.5 meters (against the 3 meter wall). I was thinking of an Arcam FJM A19 with Tannoy Revolution XT6F. I feel the floorstanders may be a bit of an overkill for the small room KEF LS50...
