I can use Chord Mojo as a desktop DAC with my Genelec speakers by connecting Toslink out from Chromecast Audio or my 4k TV optical out. Plus i can use as a Highend Mobile DAC+AMP on my office desk just by connecting to my Mobile :) I think this is the best product i have seen in a while.

After a lot of research, i am going to buy Mojo this monthend. My country distributor can bring it only by this month end. FYI - i am deciding Mojo over Audiolab M-DAC & Arcam-irDAC.

Do check out Chord Hugo @ £399. I have a genelec 8010 pair with F one sub, i have decided to go for Chord Hugo.

One big plus point for Hugo is that you can listen to your mobile songs while you are not at home. I am going to buy Chord Mojo for my Genelecs soon :)

I will suggest a different approach. You can go for 2 Studio monitor ( e.g. Mackie, Pre-sonus, Yamaha) with a matching Active Studio SUB from same company. It will give a very good synergy. And on top of that you can buy any Budget DAC. (Anyhow if you want good quality, you have to buy a DAC...
