    I agree. The series 7 is fine... but for some reason theres a million different series 6 tv's. I think the new magazine is out tommorow.? hopefully that will help. However, unfortunately at yours and my pricepoint (£750ish) I think the picture quality drops off quite quickly. But im no expert.

    Im in same boat too. Hoping the new what hifi mag this month will help me make a decision with there supertest of sub 50inch tvs (at least i believe its that). im currently thinking st60 or samsung 6 series.

    July 3rd. Awesome. My girlfriend is going to be annoyed with me for further delaying the tv purchase :-) we currently are using a 20 inch lg with virgin tivo... something is broken and everything appears as double. Heh Good point gel. Lets hope stock gets better. I would like to see all these...

    What i dont get from the samsung series 6 range is the 6500 is more expensive than the 6800. Logically u would expect the 6800 to be better. Anyone know the key difference between these two tvs? Gel, is the J.L. clearance sale on the web too? or is it specific stores?

    Thanks guys. I better check on the plasma vs lcd. I guess i shoulf make a trip to a store to have a look. I will play around with the settings... but do u think somewhere like john lewis do a better job at setting the tvs up compared to like currys? I dont have a decent independent store near me.
