They are in mint condition and have never been played really loud. They sounded good when I last listened paired with a Quad 66 setup. You’re right though I think I’m going to have to stick with what I have. They were my dads my mothers partner wants to swap them so he can fit a bigger tv.

Any views on whether B&W P6 DM604x from 1994 (ones with isolated tweeters) will be better than Monitor Audio Silver from 2005 - someone has offered to swap. Both floorstanders. I think the b&w will be better at more than double the rrp. I’m pairing with a 50 watt per channel Marantz Cinema...
