The essential doesn't have VTA adjustment, this only starts on the RPM series or above a Debut. Tracking weight can be adjusted on both but the counterweight is held in place by a grub screw on the T1.

You'll need to add a phono stage to this to increase the signal (and affect RIAA equalisation). Your dealer can recommend and supply one to suit the deck.

Would be fine as they nearly all have a headphone socket and RCA output to an amp etc. I can't make recommendations as we are a distributor :-)

I have to say that, if something looks too good to be true, it probably isn't true. There are costs in producing quality items, diamonds etc, and these can't be bypassed. Ortofon products are covered by a two year warranty from manufacturing defects.

We currently have, in stock, over 50 different model variants of Pro-Ject turntables. With the greatest of respect, the number could easily double if we tried to have every option covered. However, there are seperate Speedboxes available for nearly all models.
