You didn´t watch the whole video, did you? It´s not about Invicta & Rolex.

ASR and their measurements is not the holy bible, you shouldn´t follow it blindly. But it provides regular people interested in hi-fi some very useful information & guidance, specially for those who lack the technical knowledge, like me and, I suspect, most of the so called "audiophiles".

Exactly my point But what a forum like ASR is about, and specific to audio equipment, is not so much about the perceived or perception of value but the measurable value. That changed the paradigm of how hi-fi and audio is talked about, specially online OP seems to have an issue with that...

We can fly to the moon, make cars and trains that travel at 400+ km/h, have precise machines & robots working 24/7 in factories... But an amplifier is complicated and engineers have trouble making something that measures flat and has the pretended power. Ok

Basic electronics, nothing special about it. Resolved problems. You see, and that is why science and measurements are important.
