Parallel parking that must be challenging - all boot and bonnet, with restricted window views.
I've never had parking aids on any car - but I think I'd want them on that one.
First thing to do (as you've got all you need) is to try using the Sony as a DAC - and see if you notice any improvement, even into the BT speaker.
If you did go for a USB DAC, I can assure you that this is a bargain (if you can put it in a case or out of sight):

Just reading the spec reminds me.....I was talking rubbish about the limitations of internal memory 🤨
I should've remembered, I actually bought a 500GB SD card to use with that JM-21 of mine 🙄
That's the one thing that you can be certain of....not least if you were to obtain a good value balanced cable for your HD600 - as both players offer that facility (on their 4.4mm 'Pentacon' outputs).
EDIT: The Fiio certainly has, but the Walker doesn't seem to have 'balanced' - not the end of...

Has needed 1 or 2 repairs - but the fact that it can be repaired is why it's done 41 years so far.
And my Thorens 160S might be regarded as semi-classic.
Really counters the cheap knock-off image many have of Chi-fi.
No Eversolo employee looked older than 25, only the MD was an old man of about 40 🙂
Plenty of British speakers knocking about in their test rooms - as we might expect.
It's OK Del, I was replying to nads in post #11.
Thanks for the offer, but I spent a few years in electronic / audio service departments, if I can be bothered, I'll sort mine out (y)
