I've ended up taking a punt on the MA Bronze. Richer are doing a preposterous deal with some bundled extras I'll probably be able to flog on eBay for £180 odd, so they'll effectively cost me £140. We shall see!

Oh also....I have knackered 52 year old ears, a lovely bit of tinnitus in one, so trying to get that 'detailed but not fatiguing' treble mix just right.

Auditioning in store is a waste of time, you can't get a proper sense of what they'll sound like. This is more a question of matching based on how easy the above speakers would be to drive?
