    I am looking for a stereo power either without a pre-amp or an input that allows me to bypass the pre-amp like the old NAD 3020 or 3040. Anyone have any suggestions? I have only been able to find one.

    Why don't these manufacturers add the final 2 stages of amplification? It would be a lot less expensive than an end user adding a 2 channel power amp.

    Why do all of these receivers leave off the final 2 amplification stages? What would it cost to add them versus what it would cost for an end user to add a 2 channel power amp?

    The new HDMI section is perhaps most important in terms of future proofing; one of the AVC-X3700H’s seven inputs and two of its three outputs are full HDMI 2.1
