    Philips 65OLED804

You cannot give a Television that has motion processing issues a 5 star review. If it can't even do what TV's are made to do, then there's something fundamentally wrong with both the TV and the way you review them.

Best HDD for Synology NAS drive

I use a 411J and use 2*Seagate Barracuda's and 2* Western Digital Caviar Blue HDD's purely for redundancies sake as the likelihood of two manufacturers drives going at the same time is slimmer than using just one manufacturers and as i have them in a RAID 6 configuration i can just swap them out...

    New Tricks picture quality

I know all teh actors had their best days in the early 80's/Late 70's but why does the picture quality have to look like something from that time. It looks ghosted and well out of focus and i haven't even had a drink!!

No Freeview signal for BBC1 and BBC2

If you read this thread; http://www.radioandtelly.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1209161324/8 It seems that MUX 1 problems are not uncommon on the Sutton Coldfield transmitter.

Freesat - dead in the water?

so as there is only one such broadcaster in the UK with that remit (the BBC), it is just a platform for them. As you can get this through Sky without a subscription anyway it still seems rather pointless going forward and that's coming from somebody who loves his Panasonic Freesat TV.

Freesat - dead in the water?

With ITVs new HD channels going to Sky and Freesat not announcing any new HD conrtent, is the platform now officially dead? No announcements about Channel 4 or Fives' HD channels moving onto Freesat, so what exactly is happening with it. It would be a shame to see it stopped being supported by...

Panny TVs - software updates via freesat?

Freesat updates will happen over Freesat if the TV is left in standby overnight and you have selected the option in your menu's. For instance the recent update to allow the 2009 G10 range to access iplayer took place over Freesat.

Anybody else noticed PS3 3.0 firmware disconnecting their network drive

no software, it's just sitting there on my network as a networked attached device (for info it's a Maxtor Sharedstorage II), all was fine prior to the upgrade. I connect fine through my PC's and through XBMC on my laptop, just not through my PS3 anymore. I've checked the settings on the drive...

Anybody else noticed PS3 3.0 firmware disconnecting their network drive

Up until teh point where i updated my firmware to 3.0, my network drive was quite happily sitting in my PS3 menu as a media server, now i can't get th3 PS3 to recognise it for love nor money. Anybody else had the same problem?

Are BBC deliberately trying to make Freesat fail?

Why don't they have the interactive services on the BBC Freesat channels. I have a Panasonic TXP42G10 and they work on Freeview & Sky, but not Freesat - that's annoying

    Sky HD £10 Charge

It does beg the question why Sky feel the need to charge £30 for installation if you already have a Sky+ box being replaced, when all that is needed is to disconnect one box and connect the other - i can do that myself as i doubt any Sky engineer will connect up to my receiver so i'd end...
