No worries, listening throuh headphones plugged into my turntable is - of course - not my default way of listening. I was just wondering how the turntable sounds without extra equipment. And yes, it sounds better than when it goes through my av receiver. Especially vocals sound a bit brighter...

Thanks for your reply. The main reason I’m asking is because I was recommended to look at a dedicated amplifier instead of an av receiver if the only goal is listening to vinyl.
