Yes. See this article . I have the Marantz AV8805. I'm using a Mac laptop (you could use Windows) and the Linn Kazoo player. You get full resolution. I could NEVER find any way to do that with Tidal.

I'm using the Linn Kazoo client. I don't hear any issues running Kazoo on my iPad and a UPnP server on a Mac laptop. Running both server and client on the Mac resulted in significant buffering issues.

One HUGE difference is that there's no way to stream Tidal to my Marantz AV8805 in high res without some intermediate piece of equipment. Airplay 2 cuts off at CD quality. I can stream Qobuz at full resolution using a downloadable UPnP server on my Mac laptop and then use the Linn Kazoo client...
