You have me at a disadvantage as I haven't heard the WiiM Amp Ultra. I have heard a The Audilab in competition with the WiiM Amp Pro, and it was better, clearer, crisper sound with more presence and a better soundstage. At £399 it looks like a bargain to me. You may be correct about the Ultra.

The Audiolab is a bargain at the moment. If you were starting off from scratch I would recommend it over all the others you mention. It will be better than you have but not night and day different.

You really need to audition speakers to see how they sound in your room, and to your ears. You may be pushing it a little with those speakers in your room, manufacturers guidelines suggest the loudspeakers should be positioned approximately 1.8 to 3 m apart, a minimum of 91cm from the side...

I still have Mission 701. They are in my bedroom, A little larger than I would like but they are so forgiving in where you place them. Great speakers, and I only paid £59 for them from Richer Sounds when they were discontinued.

Both great speakers. You need to listen to them to see which you prefer. Ideally at home as your room with have the largest impact on the sound. Even when you have chosen them, take some time to play with positioning. It can make a massive difference to sound.
