I would also say 2.0. My AV setup is 7.1 but 2.0 has always been enough for music.

I picked streaming, not because it is necessarily my favourite, but it is what I do most. I often listen to vinyl, but really only listen to CD's for a couple of things I have on CD that aren't available to stream.
