It's a very good player, with a really detailed colourful picture and really impressive sound. However it only offers 4k upscaling ie not native 4k, got my for 80 euro absolute bargain.

It's only very slightly better , basically considering the price difference it's a bit of a con. Full HD with a good quality blu ray player still looks amazing to me.

Can't comment on the chord cable, I have the qed cable, very good indeed, balanced and relatively neutral, upgraded from the atlas equator mk 3. It's a clear step up.

Pioneer bdp 180, or you can get a second hand Panasonic dmp 120 or dmp 220. All these players have a 2ch analogue out, hope this helps.
