    Charity shops used to be a great place to pick up cheap LPs, but I think they have all wised up. that said Oxfam do a great mail order service and it’s doubly satisfying as it’s all for a good cause. my only advice technically would be when the time and budget allows, moving coil…..

    one advantage could be, deliver, take the cash and cancel the sale on eBay. Thus avoiding the fees, but maybe a risk?

    Yes I know, but I did state that the dealer offered me the three boxes and interconnects for £15k in my reply at post #248…. thought it was very fair to offer a significant slice of the dealers margin, although I haven’t yet purchased the Naim set up..

    That’s a very hard question to honestly answer, cus the dealer said so, then maybe the placebo effect makes me think they sound better? They sounded pretty awesome from the first listening. to complicate matters dealer lent me his demo pair until mine arrived, so his were well run in I guess...
