I find this incredibly hard to believe, especially that i have demoed both units extensively and know many people who own them.

after listening to PMC db1i, Proac D1, Neat Petite SX, I ended up going with Linn Majik 109. To be it had the best overall balance, and also considerably cheaper than D1 and SX (on par with Db1i).

okay, I just bought them, now waiting in anticipation for them to be delivered - takes one month I was told!

Anyone experienced this? How do you think it will sound? Cheers
