"Aerial" was the Kate Bush album recommended to me by my, er, music mentor when I began looking to expand my tastes, and I loved it. Then I looked on Discogs to order the LP, saw how much it goes for (it is eye-watering), and resigned myself to listening to it on YouTube.

It is partly the distance and partly that the dealer in question is a pain to get to because it's near Southampton and that always involves sitting on the motorway for an hour crawling along at walking speed just near there. But that's not Rega's fault. It's a shame there aren't more specialist...

Some balance: If I were to search the internet for "buzzing [insert any manufacturer here] turntable" I'd get plenty of results. And most of those would be down to user error: an example would be novices who thought it was a good idea to be tidy and tie-clip the phono and power cables together...

I have that phono amp and it's giving some really good results with what I have. However, I have no frame of reference to call upon unlike others on here, so whether it's the best thing for the money or not - I defer to Steve and other members.

This is hi-fi. Life is never complete. There's always more money that can be spent ;) I was warned about this when I decided to get back into this particular hobby.
