I already own the speakers. Currnelt, connected to an old receiver (Yamaha RX-V2400) with Bluesound node. I like to replace that receiver. Thinking about options. Even considering the Powernode. Or keeping the Node and get a dedicated amp.
Generally, I guess I have the following options:
1.) use a receiver
2.) By more Bluesound amps (similar with sonos). 1 for each speaker pair
--> seems to become expensive for the purpose
3.) Connect the bluesound node to a multi-channel amplifier
--> I have no experience with such amplifiers...
I am in the process of upgrading my living room setup (music only). I got a pair of Evo 4.2 and currently use an older Yamaha RX-V2400 receiver. I want to do BlueSound ( I currnelty trying out a Node) I am also looking for simplicity. Therefore, I came across the NAD C-700 which is an integrated...
I have a main pair of speakers (Evo 4.2) in the living room, a pair of satellite speakers in connected adjacent room. Therefore, the A-B balance need. Sometime I like to have music in both spaces. Sometimes just listen to music in the main room.
Currently, I am using an old Yamaha RX-V2400...

If I did will this be linear to volume on main amplifier?
I like to drive one main pair speaker and concurently (at times) a scond set in adjacent room. Currently I am using an older receiver. Receivers allow to change the gain on any channel. But how about 4 channels amplifiers? I am currently looking at NAD C399 for example. I looked at the manual...
Meanwhile I got a Node. Here are my first impressions.
Setup:
Ended up being more difficult than expected. Seems the device is going into certain modes and hard to recover. Ended up resetting a couple of times. For example its hotspot for initial config simply didn't come on many times.
I ended...
I am still using a Logitech Duet with iPeng, but it is time to upgrade :)
So, this leads to the question on best replacement. There is a great review on what HiFi that places Bluesound Node on top. I feel there are two ways of biasing a review, audio tech vs. apps/integration
As such I am...
