I have (modified) Magnepan MMGs in my main set-up. The speakers take care of > 100 Hz signal (below goes to the sub). They sound very open (I guess cos there's no box involved) and do transients really well. Large scale dynamics are limited (compared to conventional cone and dome box speakers)...

Indeed, gasolin. If say the left wire is 1m longer than the right, then the sound from your left speaker will come about 0.000000003 seconds after the right one’s (speed of light and all that). That’s the same delay as keeping your head 1 micrometre closer to the right speaker... *smile*
