Wharfedale Evo Series 4.2 vs 4.3

Oh I agree with you I call it a slight veil to the sound but it's more likely to be that I'm looking for is that sparkle which I find the dynaudio has without the tizz and fizz I think the older I'm getting the hearing is less than perfect and as much as I love the warfy's that slightly veiled...

Wharfedale Evo Series 4.2 vs 4.3

This is what shocked me the most about these tiny speakers is that there is plenty of punch and energy no matter what type of music you play through them they'll grab your attention and make you listen and enjoy your music rather than listening for something if you know what I mean. Yes...

Wharfedale Evo Series 4.2 vs 4.3

Yes, the emit m10 Yeah I can understand your weary of them sounding a bit harsh in the top end but I haven't noticed any harshness at all they really good for such a tiny speaker they've really opened up in the last couple of days originally I had them about quite close to the wall boundary and...

Wharfedale Evo Series 4.2 vs 4.3

Hi So my room size is just slightly larger than yours (16ft by 11ft) the speakers run along the short side of the wall (11ft) and are approx 1foot away from the wall and ive brought them out more than a foot but i prefer where they are now without no bass boom what so ever but the bass is so...

Wharfedale Evo Series 4.2 vs 4.3

For what its worth id stick with the 4.2s if you've already got decent stands ive got the 4.2s matched with CXA 81 Amp and the sound is outstanding the bass is amazing deep yet tuneful that mid dome is the star of the show blends so well with the highs and the lows. The more i listen to them...

New Bookshelf speakers for my Nad C316BEE

If it was my choice i would go for the wharfedale 12.1 or 12.2 for a bit more bass I've had the mission lx2 and found them lacking in the bass dept Also wharfedale's current ranges of speakers are really good value for money and will compete with speakers costing a lot more money
