I currently run a Rega p3 with a goldring 1012 gx cartridge in to a Cambridge azur 540p then via an Arcam A 28 to PMCdb1i's. What great phono amps are there for under £250

They had a strong review in What Hi-Fi, particularly if your system is smooth & neutral, which mine is. additionally, my local specialist dealer sells Ruark, so I do not have to go miles to listen to them once I have set up a review and can judge them against Spendor's & PMC's

I currently have an Arcam A28, Arcam CD37 & Rega P3, feeding B&W 685's on Atacama Nexus stands. I am considering the Ruark Talisman III's as the Arcam's are very smooth and I want to upgrade to better speakers, but want something that can cope if I upgrade the amp side in future

I have just purchased the A28 amp & CD37 CD player. I did a deal with my local hi-fi specialist and got the price down to £720 amp (£900) & £1000 CD (£1300), very happy with such a bargin given how very good they are, look great in black as well. The amp even makes my Rega P3/Goldring gx1012...

It's an A&R Cambridge P77, bought new with the turntable

I have a P3 that is about 25 years old and the output sound is unbalanced. I have tried the phono amp & leads, so am sure it is the deck/cartridge. Is it time to buy a new cartridge?
