If it is a simple device that you have in mind, speak to Peter @ Cymbiosis. He has took ideas from smaller companies and sold them as upgrades to the LP12. Tiger Paw made some excellent devices, sadly they went out of business.

I think it is more to do with the ESS9038 DAC chip as opposed to the Khandas toneboard, excellent as it is. I used to have the March DAC, that was truly a masterpiece based on the toneboard. My current DAC is a Topping D90LE, which I use in DSD512 mode, the D90 has four of the ESS9038 chips.

Your Rega P2 should sound much better than your Dual 505. If you bought it new, then I would talk to the dealer you purchased it from.

I got a true point audio clamp for my Pink Triangle, some music it is different, other music I hear no difference. With some violin/piano/classical music there is a notable improvement in speed stability, and far less silabance type noises. I guess you might call it jitter in the digital domain?

Try upgrades on your cables, I guess you have improved the original Rega arm cable, if not, then Audio Origami will do an excellent job. I know, he changed my wiring. If you have an RB300/303 arm then a Mitchel Technoweight makes a massive difference, a Rega dealer should help you. I suggest...

Teddy Pardo does not have a dealer network, I emailed him to ask him about this, his reply was "dealers do not work for nothing" which is entirely correct. He offers a full refund if you are not happy, less p&p of course.

I put my speakers, Kudos X3's, on some granite chopping boards from "The Range", they work well. my floors are concrete, and the X3's have spike on them. Nice compact speakers for Naim202/250.2, TeddyCap power supply, which adds more PRaT than any Naim upgrade. Shame I cannot get my 250.2 DR'ed...
