surley all u needed was a set of aux leads , red and white , i had this problem years back when i bought my 1 st decks , i plugged the leads in the relevant red andcwhite holes then putvtge hi fi to phono and nothing worked.so i just switch tge hi fi to aux rather than phono and it works fine...
