Only seeing this now. I had it back from Marantz after about 6 weeks saying they couldn't find any issue. Started doing it again shortly after. Unbelievable. I ended up selling it for a tiny loss whilst still under waranty. Bought a Roksan Kandy amp for about £200 less than the Marantz, still...

Yeah, tested the connections etc..the fact it runs via the phono stage via another line in def seems to suggest phono input has gone. Sounds ok but was happy with the Roksan sound

The phono stage on my Roksan has started only playing through 1 channel. Do these go at some point? I've routed the Rega through a Thorens Phono box and into a line input and is fine. As is all other inputs. Weird and a shame, it sounded great.

Peter Tyson. No straight replacement as it's after 30 days. Going back to Marantz. Damn.

Checked the auto standby and disabled it. Switches off when TV switched off, that's fine. The amp will completely randomly go into standby whilst listening to diff sources. Also started flicking between sources. A life of its own. Getting picked up today.

Unfortunately not. Upgraded the speakers to Fyne Audio F302s same time as the amp purchase , and sold my old speakers, damn.

I've got a Marantz NR1200 arriving on Mon. Bought as a music mainly amp but we do watch films through the current old Sony AV Receiver and didn't want to lose that. The Marantz has a phono stage built in. Hoping it'll wound ok with my Rega PL1

I've just bought a NR1200 and a pair of Fyne Audio F302s, arrive on Mon. Can't demo so hoping they are a good match. I listen to a lot of music including vinyl so slightly concerned about the phono stage but didn't want to give up the movie watching via the amp (upgrading from an old Sony SDR)...
