Hi, can anyone state that the NAD 7140 receiver will drive 600ohm headphones? I do not want to buy a pair and find they don't work or suffer very low volume. Any advice appreciated.

Ok felt it was only fair to end this thread on a positive note. Although they said they were returning it in its broken state they have in fact glued the headphone socket back together and had inserted a jack adapter with a note explaining this and advising not to remove the adapter. So it is...

Hi Steve, no they have a website, just Google Hifi Vintage Ltd. It looked professional plus they sell some very expensive items. They were very helpful before i bought the item..but i guess they would be before i parted with my cash

Just an update on this...it gets funnier..Hifi Vintage agreed to look at the item so I sent it back to them, at my expense...so they took it apart, photographed the broken headphone socket then reiterated I used too much force plugging in the headphone adapter (or removing it..their "Forensic"...

Hi Steve983, thanks for the comment but the company stated it was fully serviced and tested and they do have a reasonable sounding returns policy, check out their website. This is why I am rather angry that when I sent my email saying the headphone socket was broken they sent the surly reply...
