im fairly good with the building side, Ill be smashing the wall and replastering everything, Ill have a look at those websites and usually im not a big cable person (personally doesnt make a difference) but since they will be in a wall for the next 10 years I think its worth investing abit of...
Im looking at doing my cable management this weekend and hope in using wall plates to make burying cables into the wall abit easyier. The cables within the wall will be mounted in trunking of course.
But Im wondering if you guys have seen a wall plate with preferebly 3x HDMI, 1x RCA/3.5mm...
It was exactly what i wanted... Adds more depth to bass and when im gaming and have music on quiet, (usually rap when gaming) I can drop the crossover to 50hz and crank up the bass... Its nice,
Why didnt I do this years ago??
I spoke to super-fi and audio T and they were super helpful, they even let me bring in my own speakers to demo with.
Best thing to do is to make some phone calls and see what dealers say
I think this is a great idea? 2x full range centres would probs be more expensive but it would look great? If I could do my set up again I would definitely buy 2x centres and a subwoofer
Telling you right now, you dont need a centre, or a subwoofer for that matter. The sound these put out is perfect for home cinema in my opinion. They got bass as well, They are really nice speakers and work better as home cinema than hifi they need space though... Talking from experience :)...
I disagree, I demoed both of these. Ended up with Rotel, Its a perfect blend of the two for my system anyway. The yamamah was more bass heavy, than the marantz, not much in it though. Go and demo things and see what you like... :rockout:
have you thought about running a sub and bookshelves? otherwise i would say B&W :)
Marantz and B&W also pair nicely, but I prefere the slightly warmer sound of the Yamaha
