Just heard these two and thought I'd contribute to the discussion. I tried the K3 and A39 with B&W's 683 s2's and the KEF R500. Source was a bluesound node. The K3 gives a very nice wallop, which helps the B&Ws but might be excessively punchy for some on the much tauter R500. I listen to metal...
