Thanks for the replies. All the cable is run through my ceiling and walls except for about 6 feet at the speaker and amp ends. Only the amp end has access to window light but indirectly.

Is there a guideline for how long speaker cables will last? I was adding a component recently and got a close-up look at my speaker cables that are about 20-25 years old. They're 12 gauge with a clear jacket so I could see the strands and they appeared to have lost their bright copper color...

After a few days of listening to the B1 shows that the sound is better when played through my computer vs the iPhone. This apparently is because the computer (Windows 10) has the latest Bluetooth drivers to allow activation of the Aptx mode in the B1. I believe the Aptx is the High Definition...

My Audioengine B1 arrived today. Got it connected and running in under 5 minutes. Paired with my iPhone it provides excellent sound.

I just ordered a Bluetooth adapter to attach to my hi-fi system. Should I get the radio stations from my computer or iPhone for better signal or does it matter? Thanks.

Update: My antenna arrived today and I wired it up and sat it on my living room floor. Problem solved. Good to see the "Stereo" light come light up. Tomorrow I'll mount it in the attic.

Thanks for the response. During all this virus issue and now being home much more I started listing to FM a bit. Hadn't done that for a few years. Hopefully the problem is simply corrosion or squirrels chewing on the cable and not my tuner. I'm in the Washington DC area so the rooftop sees all...
