    What a shocker

Yeah I know. Those two brands are increasing in sakes for us. We didn't even start selling TCL until last year. Hisense we've only got back into stock from November this year, after not being able to get hold of them when we left Euronics at the same time Britain voted for Brexit.

    What a shocker

I have worked for my employer for 22 years this year and historically Panasonic were always our best selling TV brand and widely considered as the best. That all changed a number of years ago when Panasonic decided to farm out production of some models to vestel and those models were no better...

    Does streaming make us lazy?

I suppose in this regard Spotify has made me lazy. Over the last few years I've bought a number of albums, a mix of CD and Vinyl, because I wanted to contribute to the artists but there are a few I've not listened to on the physical media, I just use Spotify.

    Does streaming make us lazy?

It was by accident I discovered Gary was still making music. It will be 8 years ago now I was sat in the cellar and I saw an advert on my phone for his then new album Savage. So I jumped on Amazon without hearing it first and bought it on CD and instantly got an MP3 download of the album and...

    Does streaming make us lazy?

I do buy physical media if I find new material on Spotify. As mentioned by someone else earlier in this post there are a few artists that only release material on streaming services. My son likes Gareth Emery he does release physical media but only in limited numbers and they are £££'s I'm...

    Does streaming make us lazy?

CD's at home I have ripped to NAS. I switch between Spotify and using Bubble UPnP on my phone to stream from my NAS, at night. (Said in a few threads I need music to help me sleep) I have on a number of occasions whether it's CD or Spotify flicked through to find something to play and not found...

    Room 101

I would once again like to nominate myself for room 101. Getting an 83” TV off a pallet yesterday ready for delivery and I fell backwards landing in my right wrist. Carried on working but by the last two hours I couldn't move anything without pain. Went to A&E wrist x-rayed nothing broken. Went...

How much coffee or tea do you drink in a day?

    That's what I always say. 🤣

    Your most recent gig

Gareth Emery LSR/CITY O2 Academy Brixton. We seemed to be surrounded by fellow Northerners🤣. One of my son's favourite artist not my usual cup of tea but I really enjoyed it. As some of you will know from previous posts I was dreading coming to London but I loved it. Leeds to Kings Cross -...

Show off your PC, Hi-Fi, Garden, Cat, Dog anything that comes to mind!

About the only thing on my son's PC that he has left full RGB not just switched to red. Although when he first got it he did set it to red and had it doing the Kitt from Knight Rider thing, every time he pressed a key.

How much coffee or tea do you drink in a day?

I did go through a patch where I drank herbal/fruit teas after 16:00 I slept better but boy did I miss the nice strong flavour of regular tea.

Show off your PC, Hi-Fi, Garden, Cat, Dog anything that comes to mind!

As I said my son has a thing for black and red. Showing off is his cosplay outfit. Helmet bought from a company in USA and the rest 3D printed. He made it for Comic Con Liverpool earlier this year, also went to Manchester Comic Con in it a couple of months ago and will be at Liverpool Comic Con...

    Pixel cleaning TV

That's what Panasonic kept coming back with "The user manual says don't unplug / switch off at the mains". We sent it back to Panasonic, they plugged a computer in the back and emailed us the data, unplugged/switched off at the mains every time customer had finished watching TV and never gone...

    Pixel cleaning TV

In the early days of OLED we had an elderly customer who unplugged his TV when he switched it off. The Panasonic never got to do the pixel clean (did it automatically when in standby) within months his screen was ruined with burn in. We tried everything to help the customer and to try and get...
