All this talk of Somerset and scrumpy has got songs from a certain group banging round in my head "I am a cider drinker I drinks it all of the day......etc etc" I tried Scrumpy once from a shop in Chedder Gorge. Rach and I were on honeymoon in that corner of the world, we went to Chedder Gorge...

    Oddities of traditional British snacks.

I would loved to them. I still maintain the best kitkats are the ones that slip through quality control and have no biscuit in the middle and are just chocolate, I've had a few of them.🤣

My son given half a chance would live off sausage rolls. For me it would be a steak bake.

Sounds like my mum and our cat back in the 80's. Caught a bird, my mum grabbed it and held it out of the cats reach or so she thought, the cat jumped up and sank a single claw into my mums hand. Oh boy the blood and my mum screaming at the cat.

I want to put Mazda fuel gauges in room 101. Filled up Friday night for a journey from Lancashire down to Birmingham. 400 mile estimated range when I filled up. Did 15 miles on the M65 and the estimated range dropped to 380. Did 20 miles down the M6 and the estimated range went back up to 400...

The Car Thread (motorbikes reluctantly allowed!)

Mazda digital fuel gauges. Filled up the car last night for trip down from Lancashire to Birmingham. 400 mile estimated range when I'd filled up. Drove 15 mile along the M65 and range had dropped to 380, drove about 20 miles down the M6 and range had gone back up to 400. Over 130 miles driven...

Would have had a better comparison if I'd actually signed the boxes ip and taken a photo from above. But yeah modern F1 way longer but narrower than an 80's F1 car. I know I'm an old fart but I prefer the look of those early to mid 80's F1 cars too.

This one F1 from 1980's, 1990's and modern. These are all the same scale (1:18) look at the size difference between an early 80's Williams and the Mclaren from just a couple of years ago.
