    Which one ?

No I was just saying we've gone from selling hi-fi separates to selling Ruark and Sonos I know the OP was about sonoro. I've seen sonoro about but never heard any. I have of course heard Ruark as we sell them.

    Which one ?

I've lamented in the past about our customers only wanting Ruark or Sonos now. Long gone are the days when we sold hifi separates. But for small spaces the Ruark R3 are great little machines. We sell the 610 and the little CD player that goes with it, very neat.

Question What’s the RRP of your HiFi or Home Cinema System and what you paid?

No where in the same league as yours. I have a Yamaha DSP-AX761 bought in 2008 RRP £600. We had bought four in at work as part of our Yamaha stocking plan, we had them for a year and not sold a single one. I asked one of the directors for a staff price, which is normally trade plus VAT. I was...

    Record shopping day.

When on honeymoon (1993) Rach and I went into a charity shop and I found Hazel O'Connor, Breaking Glass on vinyl almost pristine. I bought it on the strength of the only track I'd heard as a preteen, Will You. £3 money well spent.

I don't know about anyone else's GP's surgery but since COVID there is only on GP on duty at any time at mine, the rest work from home. Excuse me a GP working from home what do they do. Once upon a time they did home visits.

Music fans ditch 'expensive' subscriptions like Spotify for nostalgic 90s players that cost less than £20

I cheat. My son pays for the family subscription to Spotify, I don't spend a thing. Although to be fair I do purchase CD's if there is something I really like.

    Surprisingly disappointing

I did try it with a Chromecast Audio a while back but for some reason it kept dropping the WiFi, where our phones are perfectly happy with the router in the warehouse. I think I will be putting good old faithful back in on Monday 😁

    Surprisingly disappointing

I might just do that. On another note it's amazing the difference between my phone and my son's phone (both android) going through that old spec Bluetooth receiver. My son has a £500+ ROG phone, not sure what model number, mine is a sub £180 Motorola. Again I honestly thought compressed music...

    Surprisingly disappointing

I've mentioned a few times in various posts that I use a 36 year old Denon PMA250mk2 at work, driving a pair of TDL bookshelf speakers. We stream Spotify from our phones to an old Harman Kardon blue tooth receiver. Draw backs, obviously phone calls messages etc interrupting the music. Today in a...

Question How well positioned are your loudspeakers?

I've got holidays owing so I might just take a week off and get on with making a wall mounted shelf for all the Hifi gear. It's been 20 plus years since we moved into this house, I'm not as nimble as I was, so crawling around under the floor to reroute the speaker cables is going to be fun.

Who's your favourite Star Trek Captain?

Babylon 5 one of my favourite sci-fi shows of all time. Although to be fair I watched the pilot "The Gathering" and thought how boring and predictable, so I didn't watch anymore until part way through season 2 and then thought "what have I missed" About 15 years ago I bought, Babylon 5 The...
