LVIS, I expect your Canton does not have alot of amplifcation and I would seek advice from Canton before you waste time and money. My receiver can drive my speakers and my upgraded sub very loud because it has good ampification for all the channels I use in my 5.1 system. Best wishes Chris

Robin Is correct about setting distances but why not download a sound meter for your smart phone there are loads for android and many are free. My old NAD receiver had no mike so we double checked with sound meter when setting it up for my son. Best wishes Chris
