I have a perreaux 150i connected to the kef ref 3 and to my ears it is a fantastic match, high volume to low volume it sounds surperb.surperb bass layers and highs and beautifull mids in a room 8m x5m

i had an audible hum from my amp,and tried everything to get rid of it.but just had my earth to the house upgraded as where i live is a dry country and it does not help the earthing apparently.so a simple earthing rod could be the problem with some peoples hum from thier amps,hope it helps

hi ive got the Perreaux Eloquence 150I with the kef r700 and very happy with the results.but i use the magic stream 6 as my main source of music. as i did not want to go to great expence if i did not like streaming. ,so just wondering which streamer you guys would go for,ive got 2000 to 3000...

the biggest difference ive noticed is using xlr that cost me 10 euros from a pro music shop

hi ryan,whats the r900 like with the rega amp is it the elicit 2 or 1 i wouldn,t plug the ports i would move the kefs more into the room as they need some positioning but once you find a sweet spot they sound fantastic

i think its that 35 hour working week here in france not enougth time for work to make the amp and smoke and enjoy coffee :rofl:but did you hear it with the kef 700 just wondering if it was any good

budget nearly shredded when i got the dealer to connect it to my speackers sounds great :O and the sugden a2 i think i could of fried an egg on that amp it gets so hot

yes the budget can be 2500 and more, but i gave that budget just incase the wife read this!
