so how do you measure this sweep? I'm guessing with recording equipment no?

I can measurably show there is a differences between speaker cables

I guess that would depend if the volume did affect all the fequencies equally. Hard to know. yep, that's up to you - If you want to include volume changes as an effect of a cable or not. I only mentioned it in case you didn't. There's been quite a few cases of people thinking the...

I can measurably show there is a differences between speaker cables

unless you are including volume changes as part of the changes from cables, that's a flaw unfortunately. Ideally you need to level match at each change. Hypothetically speaking, you could have two cables, one with a greater resistance than the other one, so the upshot of which is that one...

if the sound is actually changing and you cant see any frequency response then maybe your recording equipment is not revealing enough, or you are not using the right type of recording cables.

That's not how it works, sorry. The video is not flawed, it just shows you how your brain can actually alter how you percieve things. Good and bad are personal preferences and it's not what's being covered.

Sound quality difference audio network players when using digital output

it depends how that signal is presented to the DAC. In thoery if it's just passed through without any manipulation, they should all sound the same, however, if a player may have settings, or be set, to EQ, DSP etc it can and will affect how it sounds before it's reached the DAC.

gotta agree, he literally stalks him around any cable thread to say the same thing over and over again. It's borderline obsession

I care. So you are wrong. proof please? Unless you are saying that you are happy for companies to outright lie?
