Software updates end May 2020 - so how long after that will the system continue to work effectively? I have a bridge and 2 connect units, the bridge is now redundant for new systems. Sonos are offering a trade in for old units if you can afford to upgrade. Not sure what the alternatives are...

Paul, thanks for the feedback, I also have a pansonic DVD HDD recorder and I am still really impressed with the playback and its ease of use. Also the price of the panasonic is also coming down -thanks for the link. I think it'll be the Panasonic with the extra features etc. Cheers cee1
