Stick with what you've got, Arcam and B&W are good gear, you don't need to get sucked into the money pit!

Me Roksans still sound great after 20+ years, the casing has a few marks but the speakers and tweeters are still going strong.

I have a pair of black Roksan Ojan 3 speakers, was wondering if anyone has heard these set up with the Ojan Subs? Though they seem very he'd to get hold of.

Arcam Delta 250 transport arrived. Looks like bloody new and sounds awesome. The synch lock facility does seem to give a much bigger sound with greater separation. Then again nothing makes any difference apparently. So I'll just sit back and enjoy this delusion.

We grew up with an 8track, reel to reel, then a Binatone system. So glad times have changed. Yes the Alpha is a great player, had it about 25 years.

Am excited just bought an Arcam Delta 250 CD transport to go with my Black Box 50. I was using a Rotel RCD02 for a while which was a bit dry sounding when I compared it to my old Arcam Alpha CD, unfortunately my Alpha has developed an electrical buzz. So I can't wait to hear my old new to me...

It's not going to be for a good while as our daughter is still very young. If we move the couch and things are worse I can always resume the central position. It's tricky as it's just our front room, we don't have a big enough house to have a designated listening room.

I tried the pillow thing, but wasn't as good as resuming my floor position. I'll see how things sound when we rearrange the room in the future. Maybe one day i'll upgrade the speakers to some taller floor standers, but I love the Roksans, have had them for roughly 20years now and they are great...
