Nah, when I play through analogue connections there isn't a problem, no CD skipping. I think it's the cable or connections at times it gets so bad I switch to analogue. Maybe a duff cable? Cost 20 Euros.

After a couple of weeks being impressed with improvements in sound, although output is lower, recently there have been drop outs in sound. At first, I thought it was a scratched CD. Connections seem to be fine. Am I overlooking something?

I'll try the optical option, certainly cheaper than a new CDP-thanks for the suggestion Paul.

I recently bought the Q Acoustics 2020i cinema pack to add to my Denon 1910 AV. I've been particulary impressed by listening to music in "Pure direct" mode via my old Technics SL-PG490 CD player. I'm tempted to buy the Marantz CD6004 but would I really notice any marked difference in sound quality?

Some time ago I bought the Denon 1910 AV and LG5000 42" TV. For some reason can't get sound from the TV to go through the amp. Connections seem to be fine, HDMI from TV to amp.Satellite box and Blueray player are fine- so where am I going wrong???
