Thanks! Just to clarify.... an optical/optical lead from tv to converter and then coax/coax cable from amp to converter ?

Marantz pm 6005 broken optical port

I have Marantz PM 6005 amplifier which has a broken optical port. I cannot get a lead into this. I used this for connecting to LG TV and having sound through separate speakers. Would anyone have suggestion for alternate connection from the the tv to amplifier?
