    I have always been a big fan of Pioneer, Sony and Panasonic and have various models in my house. Ones to consider are: Sony BDP-S790 and Pioneer BDP- 450. Also, I have found that matching tv + player makes works and looks good.

    Pioneer BDP 320 or 51/52 - I have the 320 plugged into my Pioneer Plasma and DVD upscaling is brilliant.

    Steve - have listened to both the Cyrus and Naim - Cyrus for me every time as it sounds better: more dynamic, better soundstage and not laid back (which is what I prefer). Good Luck.

    Agree with the other posts but would also recommend that you audition the Marantz CD 6003 (mid range) and the Audiolab 8200 (higher-end). I have had a lot of Rotel, Audiolab, Kef, Marantz stuff over the last 24 years and found Marantz and Rotel worked really well for me. However, I have not...
