    Densen hifi problems

I have a B310+ power amp for Densen. It is dead quiet, works flawlessy and matches so well with my Dynaudio Focus speakers that I no longer feel the need to upgrade. I now have music playing in my room, not equipment.

Will Dynaudio X12 + Naim Nait 5i-2 be a good match?

The Creek Evolution was a fantastic amp and an excellent match with my Dynaudio Focus 110, so I'd imagine it would be even better with the Excite (the latter being easier to drive than the Focus).

    Amp for Dynaudio Focus 110

To the OP. I tried my 110 with the following amplifiers: -Creek Evolution: wonderful timing, tight but quite "light" bass -Creek Power A53 + vishay-dale passive preamp: more of what the Evolution gave. Although I found the treble to be a bit over-emphasized with this pre/power combo...

How much hiss from power amplifier is too much?

I've owned a Creek Evo for a long time and for a while used it with a pair of Epos M5i, which I assume are quite similar to yours. No hiss, unless I stuck my ear on the tweeters while no music was playing and in total absence of environmental noise (cars, traffic, tv on etc)

    hrt music streamer II+

I've had the HRT II+ for more than a year after updgrading from a II. It's fantastic and much better than the dac in my former CD player (Marantz CD6000 OSE KI) No problems whatsoever with pops and clicks here, when used through +foobar + wasapi.

    NAD Amp Bargains

I owned a C370 for a while, it had a big bold but ultimately unrefined sound (and a flat soundstage). A Creek Evolution I bought to replace it easily bettered it. Additionally, the C370 developed a fault and broke. After a request for help on some forums I realised the fault was common and...

Looking for good quality used Amp

You need a nice high current amp with those Dynaudio. Go for a used Creek Evolution. I used mine to power some Focus 110 with excellent results. They go for ~£250 used and they will beat all the NAD, Marantz,Rotel usual suspects at the price, in my opinion.

From Dynaudio Focus 110 passive to Dynaudio BM5A MKII Active. A downgrade?

Hi thanks but the 110A cost more than I'd like to spend, and the other ones you mention don't seem to be readily available..

From Dynaudio Focus 110 passive to Dynaudio BM5A MKII Active. A downgrade?

Hi, I'm considering simplifying my set-up due to a house move and less space available. I'm really happy with my current configuration, a Musical Fidelity pre amp, Creek Power amp and Dynaudio Focus 110. However a reduction in the number of boxes would be welcome. Additionally, the Dynaudio are...

Amp to drive Dynadio Focus 110

Hi afterworks, I have the same speakers. Needless to say I also love them. I will make a recommendation that comes from my personal experience: try Creek electronics. I initially powered my 110 using a Creek Evolution: that's what I had at the time so it was worth a try. On paper, and based on...

    Why is my thread inaccessible?

Hi seems like my thread http://www.whathifi.com/forum/hi-fi/would-adding-a-power-amp-to-my-integrated-amp-improve-the-sound is no more accessible. Can the admin/mods provide a reason as to why this is the case? Thanks!

Would adding a power amp to my integrated amp improve the sound?

Cheers actually do you know anything about Croft pre-amps? Seems like a respectable old-style British maker from what I can read..

Would adding a power amp to my integrated amp improve the sound?

Thanks, sound advice. Actually, I'm considering the following two alternative possibilities: 1- I find the added power amp does not provide clear improvements. I sell it. 2- The power amp does represent a clear improvement. In this case, the integrated becomes somehow redundant - better, the...
