weird, sounds like a phase issue caused by a faulty cable. The 3m length should not really matter.

The AMT tweeter of the Evo series is really well implemented and received and they seem to offer a bit more clarity... The downside to that is that some people don't like AMT tweeter systems because they are far more directional than conventional tweeters and the "sweet spot of listening"...

I personally like these when it comes to design, Have wondered about them. Maybe I will audition a pair once. Reviews are not really raving though, so I don't expect that they will really be a candidate to replace either my Evo 4.2 or Denton 85th.

They indeed did. : ) I also didn’t know that till a few months ago when I went looking around for solid state amps that sounded like valves sounded.
