I use a Sony UBP-X800 UHD Blu-ray DVD player for music CD and video DVD. For music I use it as a CD transport using the digital coax output to my DAC/Integrated Amp. I can also use the HDMI output for music since my amp also has an HDMI input. It has had good reviews and it costs only 300 euro.

I hope so and that it will get done sooner than later. Otherwise you would think that it was simply price optimization depending on, as example, availability of Amazon HD music in a given country. We’ll see ...

Qobuz finally introduced Studio Premier subscription & lower price in UK (was done in USA in 2019) which is great news. However it has not yet done the same in the rest of Europe which is a shame and very disappointing. One can only guess why it hasn't done it yet ... nor have I seen any news...
